Our Services - Nutrition

Enteral Nutrition
You can not feed yourself orally, or it becomes difficult? Your doctor has prescribed enteral nutrition. This allows you to feed through a liquid solution that will go directly into your digestive system through a pump system.
We accompany you on your enteral nutrition, whether by nasogastric tube, gastrostomy or jejunostomy.
At your home, you will install an infusion stand on wheels to which will be attached a pump that will allow the passage of the power at the speed that suits you best. Also provided are the prescribed nutrition pouches, the tubing that connects the nutrition bag to your probe as well as complete sets for your care.
You are also provided with a small piece of furniture to store the equipment.
To facilitate your mobility, a backpack is also included. It is designed to hold the portable pump and a nutrition pocket, making it easier to get around.
Our dietician provides nutritional monitoring, she contacts you and visits you regularly. It completes a link file, which remains at your home to allow the transmission of information with your nurses.

Oral Nutritional Supplement
If you are malnourished or at risk of malnutrition, your doctor may prescribe Oral Nutritional Supplements, which we will call more simply NOCs. They allow to bring more energy with small quantities of products.
They come in many forms, tastes and textures. We can offer you sweet creams, milk drinks, soups ...
Our dietician will bring the NOCs to your home and will provide nutritional monitoring. She will also advise you on your general diet.

Parenteral Nutrition
When dietary advice, NOCs and / or enteral nutrition are not / no longer sufficient, your doctor may prescribe parenteral nutrition.
It gives you all the nutrients you need directly in the blood, which puts your digestive system at rest.
We accompany you in your parenteral nutrition at home, whether it is Percutaneous Implantable Chamber (CIP) or PICC-line.
Our nurse coordinator will install at home an infusion stand on wheels with a pump attached to allow the passage of food at an optimal speed. We provide tubing and all the necessary material for your Liberal nurse to do the care safely. The bags of parenteral nutrition are ordered by us from your usual pharmacy.
You are also provided with a small piece of furniture to store the equipment.
Our nurse coordinator follows up, she contacts you and visits you regularly. It completes a liaison binder, which stays at your home to allow for the transmission of information with your liberal nurses.
